I designed and engineered the citizen experience, administrative surfaces and the systems connecting them. Reports, the city map, building management and city information share one product; the assistant works with municipal documents.

The city, first hand
The platform connects the physical city of Banja Luka to citizen reports.

The city in one place
Local government here is paper-first and fragmented: to report a broken streetlight, find the right office, or understand a permit, a citizen calls, queues, and digs through scanned PDFs in the official gazette. Urbano is the single digital front door.
Five surfaces, one account
The public site, citizen app, administrative console, public API and RAG assistant share a product and an account. The interfaces give each part of the city its own working surface while keeping identity and data connected.
An assistant grounded in sources
The RAG assistant works over 22,300 city documents. Retrieval, relevant context and the conversational interface form one system: the city’s documents become something a citizen can ask a question of.
From information to action
The platform brings 143 government forms into the same experience as city information and services. A citizen can find the relevant document or service and continue through the corresponding flow.
My part of the work
I designed and built the product end to end — from the first sketch to production. The work spans interfaces, application logic, data, backend and the AI integration. Urbano is part of what we build through Blink in Banja Luka.
