3D earns its place when it helps someone decide: which apartment, which finish, how many packs.
Grand Trade presents a residential development in central Banja Luka wing by wing, connects apartment selection to the floor plan and offers a walk through an apartment. The project is in preview.
For Drvex, which has sold board materials and fittings since 1991, a kitchen assembles on the homepage, a visualiser shows fronts in the finishes on offer and the cutting list arrives online, already calculated. The project is in preview.
On the Longi homepage one marble slab becomes a kitchen island, a console and a desk while the page moves — and then continues into the catalogue and basket.
In a proposal for MT Ponos, a flooring catalogue comes with a calculator that turns room measurements into packs and carries that calculation into the enquiry. This is a redesign proposal.
If it slows the page or hides the information a buyer needs, 3D is decoration. Every scene should lead to a decision, and weaker phones should get a lighter version instead of a broken one.
